The easiest way is to register with the NHS APP or register for online services (username and password protected) through our Receptionist at Ridge Green or Freshbrook Surgery. Please bring some photo ID as proof of ID as you will have full access to your booked appointments, prescription medicine list to request repeats and be able to book or cancel appointments.
You can also email us on [email protected] to request repeat medication.
We no longer accept fax requests due to incorrect details or missing information on faxes causing script errors. Please do register now for online requesting for secure reliable service.
We regret that we cannot accept verbal requests for repeat prescriptions. However we realise that there are exceptional circumstances – please talk to our receptionist for more information.
We offer a 2 working day (please allow additional time for the chemist to prepare your prescription – varies from pharmacy to pharmacy) repeat prescription service.
Please give written requests, clearly stating whether the prescription is to be collected from or pick up from the surgery. This will allow enough time for us to process your prescription through our multi point safety check, pass the request to pharmacist who will then need to recheck then dispense and label medicines ready for collection. Please use the tear off slip from the previous prescription.
Our electronic request service is free and easy to set up-it is a convenient and easy way to request repeat medication with us, sign up in person at the reception.
